"Very dissapointing. The terrace in the picture is only accessible for one client and needs to be reserved. The mattrass was old, tired and I could feel the springs. The room that I was given (smoking) was not the one I bought (non smoking) . After complaining, I was oriented to another one. There is no bar in the hotel available. "My wife and I had beautiful time visiting Tennomaru. The hotel staff were polite, considerate and treated us with respect during our stay. I recommend all of my friends who visit Japan to make the trip down to Aichi and experience this special place. Come here and you won't be disappointed!"

"Beautiful views over the Pacific Ocean in the open air onsen, would definitely recommend for that alone. Easily accessible by train from Nagoya city centre, however the train station has one bus (and no taxi stand) to the resort every couple of hours so organise ahead. For foreign tourists; the staff speak little English but try to be helpful!"

"This is a hidden gem that I literally stumbled upon. This area is famous for agriculture so the food was sourced locally and amazing. The staff is international so even if you don't speak much Japanese you will be fine. It is peaceful and fun to walk around the area. We even met a young tomato and melon farmer who showed us his greenhouse. It was like staying in a ancient Japanese palace in a very local village.
