+ Amazing staff + Fantastic roof top pool (but only 4 chairs) + Super clean, quiet and amazing TV and bed - Location. On a main road, have to cross the high way to walk to the beach. So basically you can’t walk anywhere from this hotel. It’s fine if you have a driver etc. - Breakfast.

The staff was nice and ready to help. Great location to visit Bali and awsome breakfast! The building needs some renovation on the outside/gym area. Rooms instead are well kept, and I have also received a piece of cake on my bday. Everyone was really nice!

Very average, not worth the price I paid
This hotel was very average. For the price I don’t think it’s worth it. Nothing Special, not the best location, it said it had a free beach shuttle, but there wasn’t, the pool has only 2 chairs, the pillows were gigantic and made my neck very sore. Breakfast and staff were great, but aside from that I would give it a 6/10.

We had 3x rooms. Very noisy. All 3x rooms smelt mouldy inside. Staff were not well spoken in English. We were sick for a short time & to think they wanted to charge us an additional $2 for an ice bucket !

Wonderful service but the hotel is tired
We stayed at the Santika Hotel for 1 night on 6 January. The room was large, airy and clean at first glance however we noticed some ants on the dresser, it turned out that some crumbs that were left by the previous occupants hadn't been seen by the cleaning crew. We wiped these ourselves as we travel with antibacterial wipes. Breakfast was a buffet with variety: traditional Indonesian breakfast and western foods were on display. We wanted to try the traditional foods and found Ami, our breakfast host to be very helpful. The service overall is excellent and apart from the crumbs our room was spotless. One thing I noticed is that the floor had been mopped, I do not believe this happens everywhere, most hotels seem to sweep the rooms but not mop the floors. The hotel does look tired and could do with painting in places to restore it to it's former glory.
