Saqqara Hotels near Al-Badrashayn

"Very welcoming and helpful staff, especially Manaa, who kidly gave us a temporary room until our was ready (we arrived very early in the morning). He also organised some excellent trips. We were fortunate to have an amazing Egyptologist as our guide, who reads hieroglyphics and has worked on archeological digs. Her name is Sherine and she was the most informative guide we have ever had, I thoroughly recommend you ask for her. Many thanks also to our excellent driver Mohammad, who has lived in Giza all his life and knows the best routes and places to go (and was also friendly and kind) The hotel itself is quirky, and we ate breakfast on the roof terrace, staring straight ahead at the pyramids and Sphinx. It was utterly stunning! Our bedroom also had a balcony from which we could watch the Sound and Light Show. The bed was comfortable, there was a small fridge with water and everything was clean. It is a little noisy outside the front of the hotel in the evening but we slept well anyway. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Giza. "

"You can’t get a better view or closer to the Giza pyramids and sphinx than this hotel. Walk across the street to the Giza plateau entrance. The terrace serves a good breakfast where you can enjoy the view. Staff was great and very attentive. "

"Exceptional location, rooms and Buffett breakfast"

"The staff was friendly but english language skills were so so. There was no ironing board; one of the faucets were leaking throughout our stay which kept the washroom floor wet. I requested the front desk to fix it and showed the video to them but it was not fixed during our stay. There was no convenience store near the property and only one seeshabar/restaurant near the property which did not offer any breakfast. Our unit was comfortable though and the layout was functional. The storage room’s floor had constructed debris on the floor. The locker/safe in the unit was not functional and there were no instructions either. "
