Beach Hotels in Santa María Huatulco, Oaxaca

"We stayed at three different places in Zipolite. Alquimista was best for food and location. The service was also good. We weren't aware that some of the hotels in Zipolite, while air conditioned, don't have glass windows, just wooden shutters and thatched roofs. In September when we visited, the air conditioner only keeps the room so cool, especially if you want to open the shutters for light. We weren't attracted to Alquimista because it was clothing optional, so we were okay with discovering...

"It was worth the price. Close to the beach and restaurants. The tennis courts with children screaming every twenty seconds was the worst part and it only lasted a few hours. The people were great. "

"Loved the quiet property and the staff was just so wonderful. Beautiful area and close enough to still go for meals or shopping with a short ride. Would definately stay again...and we plan to!"
