I absolutely LOVED this place. One of my favourite aspects was the staff. Martine, Mario, SOBRINO and others I have probably forgotten! The manager Juan was also fantastic. They were all so kind and attentive and their work ethic was amazing. I came from Canada just by myself but met other Canadians and my friend from Mexico City visited as well. We all had such an amazing time. I have been to Mexico FIVE times and the service at this place was by far the best. The food and drinks were good and I also loved the beaches and the beautiful scenery. I definitely would go back there!!! Thank you to the wonderful staff!!

Overall we had a great stay, the room was clean with air conditioning, awesome pool/beach, food was pretty good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort is calm and mostly quiet which is great, and the spa treatments are 10/10. Only downside was the wifi didn’t work very well unless down by the restaurant.

This is an absolutely lovely property with the sweetest staff. Everyone is incredible welcoming and kind. Both beaches are stunning and very quiet, awesome for looking at seashells and body surfing. We had an amazing time and felt extremely safe, but I truly cannot stress enough that it is the staff who make this resort truly remarkable. As well as the beautiful nature and delicious food!! Absolutely amazing time here, thank you to everyone.

The staff was personable and helpful from Jazz at reception; Ariella, Juan, and Emmanuel in dining; Henry with evening entertainment. All staff were so hardworking. They really made the stay special. The property is beautiful. Only downside is having to take a taxi everywhere and the long walk down to the pool, dining and beaches. The wifi is also a little spotty in the rooms.

The ladies and gentlemen serving breakfast, lunch and dinner were fabulous. The downside is the distance to the dining area and pool. There is no WIFI in the rooms. The only place that had WIFI is in the dining area, which would stop working every 5 minutes. If you want a quiet place where electronic are useless and the views, beach and pool is great, go here.

Good housekeeping to rooms. Nice views from the balconies and restaurant. The rooms need better maintenance. Shower heads spray all over the place, or have very low flow. The mattress was broken and sunken on the side you get in bed! 15 inches of useless area to sleep. The pool is kept cold even with 90 degrees outside We’ll try a different hotel next time

The property is beautiful, offering stunning views and a clean, well-maintained resort. A standout feature is the private beach, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and the staff were generally friendly and attentive. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The distance between the rooms and key areas like the dining area, pool, and beach can be a bit inconvenient, as it involves quite a long walk. Additionally, there is significant construction happening around the property, which detracts slightly from the overall experience. One concern was the towel inspection process. The staff thoroughly inspect returned towels for stains or damage and make it clear there are charges for anything that doesn't meet their standards. Unfortunately, the towels themselves are visibly worn, which adds to the frustration. We even had an issue where a towel we hadn’t used was stained, and it became a bigger deal than it should have been. Because of this, we chose not to use the hotel-provided towels for the pool or beach. Lastly, there were some temporary water issues in a few rooms, but the staff worked quickly to resolve them, which we appreciated. Overall, it’s a lovely resort with beautiful scenery, but some operational policies and logistical challenges affected our experience. With a few adjustments, this could be an even more enjoyable place to stay.

Coral Blue is a pretty nice hotel, average in my opinion, with some need to upgrade and improved maintenance. The room was clean and modern, AC and ceiling fan help at night. The food is average, but not bad. No other dining option from the daily buffet, unfortunately, and no restaurants nearby. Good selection of entrees, but not very imaginative, and pretty bland. Staff is awesome, very friendly and helpful, some speak a bit of English but all are eager to assist you and are patient if you can't quite make yourself understood. At Christmas this hotel is frequented mostly by Mexican families so it really felt like we were "in the thick of it". Very enjoyable. Great snorkeling on two private beaches, but watch for the tide and surge. Safe for kids near shore, excellent for confident swimmers a bit farther out. Bring lots of Pesos in smaller denominations as tips are not included. I had to go to town to find an ATM three times. Coral Blue is in the Huatulco National Park, and unless you have a car, you can't really get anywhere unless you call a taxi. They are cheap and quick though. On the property there is little else to do except lounging at the pool or beach, snorkeling and taking one of the three little kayaks for a spin around the bay. The home-made ping-pong table is okay if you are bored, and the pool table is challenging because it is lop-sided and broken in the middle. They have a spa but we did not try it.

It is important to know before coming here that the hotel is very run down and dirty! The owners are obviously not putting any money into maintaining the pool or furniture but mostly it just wasn't clean! I can overlook old but cleanliness is important! The food is bad, drinks were pretty awful and the service just wasn't there. Order a drink by the pool and sometimes it would take a half hour or more. Very little English spoken if any so good luck calling down to the front desk for anything. We also learned that there is a water treatment facility next door so the sewage smell was more than obnoxious! Would literally make me gag sometimes. The ocean views were spectacular but the water was dirty and saw toilet paper and garbage floating around when we went snorkeling. Ugh 😩 Wouldn't go back.
