Very authentic colonial Spanish architectural designs and preservation of the old church , have their own museum with collections of old artifacts. "We really enjoyed our stay. Natalia took good care of us and we were able to communicate well despite our limited Spanish. There was good wifi, lots of blankets, a nice view of the street and the ruins from the balcony and the breakfast was delicious. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Very empty hotel. It seems no other guests during our stay. The reception barely speak English. They can not arrange any taxi pickup or tour around the town. At checkout, we were informed they only accept cash payment, even though the expedia receipt say payment collected by hotel. I checked my bank statement which is not charged, so we paid cash and get a hand written receipt."

"My favorite hotel experience of our entire Peru trip. I highly recommend Melissa Wasi! The locale was amazing. The view of the mountains, the flowers around the hotel, the friendly dogs on premises, everything was magical. I did not want to leave! It was a chilly night when we were there, but firewood was right outside our door and the fire kept us warm and cozy. The owners were amazing people and helped us in any way we asked.
