"Great place to stay in Andermatt. We were in walking distance to everything. My kids loved the sofa bed. It was huge ! We were greeted by the manager who waited for us since we were stuck in traffic. Only downside was the train station which you could hear if you are a light sleeper."

The waitstaff throughout the restaurant was also remarkably friendly and attentive, further enhancing the overall experience. After spending five days exploring Switzerland, our time at Hotel Onya was unequivocally our favorite part. I am already planning my return, eager to experience the hotel and its surroundings in the winter, to enjoy the snow side rather than just the hiking. "Kind and welcoming staff. Fresh room, with great storage for hikers, cyclists and skiers. Best charging plugs and outlets we’ve found on our entire trip, very useful!! Restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other options around town. Breakfast was traditional Euro continental so no bacon but cold meats, delicious cheeeses, and boiled egg station. On our way out they let us store our bags, and recommended a great spot for our picnic!! 5 stars!!"
