The photos, while lovely, simply do not do the hotel justice; it's infinitely warmer and more inviting in person, creating an immediate sense of comfort. The views from the hotel are nothing short of incredible, offering breathtaking panoramas that made every moment feel like a postcard. Beyond the stunning scenery, the hotel's restaurant delivered an unparalleled culinary experience. The food was, quite honestly, the best I've had in all of Switzerland, a testament to their exceptional quality and skill. However, the true highlight of my stay, and what made Hotel Onya truly shine, was Isabelle. She was an absolute delight – consistently warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Her genuine hospitality and delightful demeanor made every interaction a pleasure, and the owners are truly fortunate to have her representing their establishment. The waitstaff throughout the restaurant was also remarkably friendly and attentive, further enhancing the overall experience. After spending five days exploring Switzerland, our time at Hotel Onya was unequivocally our favorite part. I am already planning my return, eager to experience the hotel and its surroundings in the winter, to enjoy the snow side rather than just the hiking. For anyone seeking an unforgettable stay in Switzerland, Hotel Onya comes with my highest recommendation."

"Kind and welcoming staff. Fresh room, with great storage for hikers, cyclists and skiers. Best charging plugs and outlets we’ve found on our entire trip, very useful!! Restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other options around town. Breakfast was traditional Euro continental so no bacon but cold meats, delicious cheeeses, and boiled egg station. On our way out they let us store our bags, and recommended a great spot for our picnic!! 5 stars!!"
