Good small room for solo traveler. The one complaint that I had was with the location of the bathroom light switch which was located low, behind a chair and underneath an overhead tv shelf which was a tall person, I hit my head on at least 8 times.

Recently, had a very wonderful 5-night stay at Hotel Duca d'Alba which is classy and lovely. It is extremely neat with a very comfortable mattress and bed sheets. Its breakfast buffet was full of varieties. Most importantly, its front-desk staff was amazingly helpful, especially Angelo and Christ who were joyful with smiles, engaging, caring and resourceful all the time. Also, the hotel has an excellent location with many nice restaurants around it and a very nearby metro station (less than 2-minute walk). All in all, I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I go back to Rome next time. (My stay was at the end of September.)

Hotel is in perfect location, but be aware that basic room will have a shower next to your bed. That is not what you see on the picture! Pictures are very deceiving. We had to pay to upgrade to have a normal bedroom and shower. Also don’t expect usb charger.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. The staff is always so friendly (shoutout to kuya George). There are a lot of restaurants and convenient stores around the area. It's also within walking distance from the Colosseum! I definitely prefer the rooms at the Annex (as they are bigger - just no elevator).

I have stayed here 5x Monti is now a "hot" area, and a well located place to be. Duca D'Alba is a pleasant, well priced hotel in the middle of the "action"... nice staff, clean rooms... not high end accommodation but perfectly nice, but particularly for solo travelers.... and, sneaky secret, some rooms have private terraces .. ; -)

Room was nice, but needed more attention to little things (used q-tip in bathroom, paper under curtains, fridge didn’t work). AC was great and kept the room almost too cold. Location was good within walking distance of food and attractions (Colosseum was practically around the corner). Front desk staff was helpful when needed. All staff interactions were prompt and professional.

Property is quirky we stayed in the annnex. Lots of stairs. Welcome to Rome. Very close to Colosseum and close to metro. Staff was great arranged for taxis to ship arrived within a few minutes and wasn’t all that pricey. Great air conditioning. I would stay there again

We really enjoyed the hotel. Walking distance to many sites. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and the air-conditioning kept it quite cool. (4th floor) it was especially hot in Rome so this was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and the breakfast in the hotel itself. Metro is just up the syreet
