"Property is at the beach but far from market. There is no restaurant around, there just one hotel's restaurant which is not open for dinner. For market have to take tuk tuk which takes around 10minutes. Water pressure is low for shower. "NO TV's in the room.....so if you like tv....you will be lacking at this place, and getting there you have to go down road that's VERY despicable, full of potholes and mud, but once there the place was nice and so were the people, and the town.....GREAT RESTAURANTS EVERYWHERE!! This place has grown over the last 5 or 6 years...hardly even recognize it anymore, but its improved so much....still fun, and a great place for expats to vacation!!"

"Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave.
