"This place is a hidden gem, aside from the place being nice and clean, staff are very welcoming as well as the manager. Food has not much selection but you can request what you want their staff is very accomodating.the place is not for those who are looking for night life though unless you have a car to drive 30 minutes to Moalboal but that’s not what I came here for.. "Our family of 6 stayed in the family suite. Came with master bedroom with huge bathroom and shower. Very updated, new, and clean. The other room had 2 double beds and their own bathroom/shower. "We loved staying here! The room was perfect and it’s located right by the pool! The pictures are very accurate. We rented a car so it made coming and going easy. Others reviewed that they didn’t like it being outside of town, but when we visited the town we were thrilled with our location at Casa de MoalBoal. The town is very cramped and dirty, so it was lovely coming home to a fresh, clean, and relaxing atmosphere. The free breakfast was always good. We also snorkeled just out front. "

"These guys are lovely we could have stayed here forever. Hired scooters from down the road and you can book tours either from the resort or on the Main Street. Views are great. Turtles are on your doorstop. Staff are friendly and helpful and the place is beautiful. "

"The room we had was seriously bare bones. Bed and a fan. A/C was extra even though Expedia said A/C was included. Shower was barely a trickle. We were only there for one night in transit, so it was all we needed. For a longer stay I would see if there were rooms with more amenities."

"NO TV's in the room.....so if you like tv....you will be lacking at this place, and getting there you have to go down road that's VERY despicable, full of potholes and mud, but once there the place was nice and so were the people, and the town.....GREAT RESTAURANTS EVERYWHERE!! This place has grown over the last 5 or 6 years...hardly even recognize it anymore, but its improved so much....still fun, and a great place for expats to vacation!!"

"Traveling with my wife and two kids. Very old outdated property. During our stay, the water went out. The water have to be delivered to the hotel and pumped into water tanks. Then are not attached to city supply or have their own well. The pump burned out and no standby replacements. So we could not use the bathroom for anything. The door the bathroom is busted. The door frame is broken like someone kick it in. The hotel manager refused to refund our money when they had no other room to...

"ay. They have literally everything you need right on-site. Hoooked us up with a fantastic tour guide that took us every where. Whale sharks, Canyoneering, turtles , sardine run for about 300 bucks usd. Room was great. "

"Property is at the beach but far from market. There is no restaurant around, there just one hotel's restaurant which is not open for dinner. For market have to take tuk tuk which takes around 10minutes. Water pressure is low for shower. Basis amenities are limited Staff are good Overall it's at a good location if you are looking for a beach hotel."
