"Beautiful hotel in the middle of everything! Newer rooms. Breakfast was very nice. Customer service was excellent. Our only problem was getting in and out of the bed. It was in a platform between 2 walls. So we had to crawl out of the bottom of the bed. This is because we are older and not as flexible anymore. View of caste was very pretty!"

"This was a wonderful stay and location. Our check-in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly and gave us great dinner recommendations. The view from the hotel looking out at the castle at night was stunning. The hotel is also right off the main street and we walked to the old part of town in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend and we'd stay there again. "

"I stayed for just one night whilst on Camino, the room was excellent, extremely clean and very comfortable. Because it’s a new hotel, they weren’t yet offering meals other than breakfast which was a little sparse but ok. The staff were very helpful in ordering me a takeaway which was delivered to the hotel for me. They are in the process of installing a kitchen so that evening meals can be supplied. Would recommend to anyone walking the caminhos de Fátima "

"A very interesting stay,like a trip back in time,so much history in the Quinta.The rooms were very quaint and clean.The only complaint we had was lack of sleep due to the extremely hard beds!"

"The apartment very spacious and immaculately clean. Vera at reception was brilliant. I was not feeling well on arrival and she made be very comfortable with a blanket and lovely pot of tea in the family room as we waited to formally check in when our room was ready. She even came to see how I was faring the next afternoon. How kind and caring. We were both touched."

What makes the property stand out is the friendly, helpful staff; the central location; fresh DIY breakfast supplies; lovely full size toiletries in the bathroom; complimentary wine/coffee in the lobby; and feeling at home. Easy walk to Rossio Square, Avenida Liberdade, Commercial Square, and the Time Out Market. We’ve recommended Dare to many and those who stayed there love it as much as we do. "
