"The hotel was very comfortable for our Halloween staycation. The room was big and clean with clean and serviceable linens. We had a nice ocean view with a balcony to sit and listen to the waves. The common areas were well maintained and presentable for the most part but the pool that was opened definitely needed some TLC which seems to be planned with one pool closed for renovations. There were excessive missing tiles and the pool seemed to get very murky as the day went on. Hoping to stay again next year to see the upgrades."

"We loved our stay at Barceló , staff was nice and helpful . My only complain is the reservation for restaurants are very limited but other than that Buffett was good with different themes every night . Good location . "

"We selected Fiesta Americana for our group of 80 guests and were so happy with our choice! This is the perfect resort for a group. It’s small so you can easily gather, all rooms have an ocean view and balcony, and you don’t *need* reservations for the speciality restaurants. Speaking of the restaurants - the food was amazing!!! Best resort food we’ve ever had. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. There is a coffee shop if you prefer cappuccinos or lattes (also ice cream!). The staff were all wonderful and service amazing. Rooms very clean. Only 3 negatives: * most serious — the buffet dishes that contain allergens NEED to be labeled. A few of our guests have severe nut allergies. One unfortunately had to administer his epi pen & see a doctor after eating a chicken dish that contained peanuts. It was not labeled. This is very dangerous - they are doing construction so 2 elevators were closed due to this. A third one stopped working while we were there… so there was just 1 elevator for the whole resort. Long wait times for the elevator. - the AC did not appear to work in the gym Overall we loved our stay and would definitely return. "
