"Car park difficult to find due to city centre improvements currently in progress. Spaces also quite tight. However parking was free due to the disruption which was a welcome bonus. Check in was simple and quick. Staff friendly and accommodating. Communal areas of the hotel very impressive and modern. Rooms spacious and well equipped, however they are quite dated. But definitely value for money, quiet at night so complaints. Would stop if down for the weekend again. Area is very central so...

"Parking was limited to 3 narrow spaces at the rear of the guesthouse but there is the option of residents parking in a nearby street (we were given a residents parking permit). We were in an en-suite room in the basement, with use of the fridge and microwave in the basement kitchen area which was useful. There were a couple of cobwebs in the corners of the room but the shower, toilet, sink and bed were spotless. Breakfast was great, with a varied menu. The dining room was clean and welcoming....
