"Nice stay at Hyatt Paracas Legend. Lovely pool and staff, we enjoyed the stay greatly (with spouse and two grown children). We had oceanfront rooms which were large and clean. The rooms are a little dated, but kept up nicely. I believe the rooms will be renovated soon though as Hyatt just bought the property and has plans to renovate. We enjoyed dune buggy riding/sand surfing. The large island was closed due to winds so only could go to the smaller one, that boat trip I can’t really recommend...

"This property has the potential to be amazing, but we had trouble with insects and there were no screens on the windows to keep them out (and no AC) We also were disappointed with the maintenance practice of apparently using untreated water for the grass, which created a terrible smell. The unit itself was great with lots of space and everything we needed. It had a beautiful ocean view. "This hotel was amazing!! We were there during low season (late June) and practically had the place to ourselves. The rooms are all individual units (imagine clean, fancy shipping containers with nice vinyl flooring, bathrooms and windows) complete with patios, picnic tables and grills outside. There are three pools (one just for kids), a ton of hammocks, bikes, surf/paddle boards, a small restaurant/bar, and it’s right next to a windsurfing shop with lessons and morning/evening yoga classes....
