"We stayed at the Palau Central for one night before a liveaboard and one night on our return and both stays were terrific. The staff were absolutely fantastic - friendly and super efficient, couldn't have asked for better. The hotel is perfectly situated to walk to various restaurants etc, would definitely stay here again."

"The staff were very kind, helpful, communicative and went above and beyond. The room was very clean, the pillows were soft and fluffy, and fitting with the name, the sink was a giant clam shell! The staff were happy to provide us will vegetarian breakfast, plenty of extra towels, helped coordinate with the laundry service a friend recommended, and on our last day when we were unable to find an available cab to drive us to Malakal, they drove us themselves so that we would not be late for our kayaking tour. I already recommended this place to a friend that will be staying there later this December. "

"Great room in the center of everything. Walk to shopping, dining and there are a ton of tour options in the area. Very nice staff and the fact they offer airport pickup and drop off was helpful. If you are going to stay an extended time, the well equipped kitchen is a huge plus. Breakfast is included. There is no ocean view, but you will have plenty of ocean when you dive or snorkel or kayak. I would stay there again. Great bang for your buck$."

"Once this is fixed up and (hopefully) back as a dive/tour operator i would give even higher grades. It has a bit of a patinated feel to it, i.e not new and certainly a few dings and dents but if you don't mind sharing a bath room the place has a certain charm. It is close to a number of tour operators so it can be very well located. A bit far to walk to downtown...."
