An incredible hotel. The location and views from the hotel are stunning, the hotel fantastic, the staff are extremely attentive. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Koror.
We loved the spacious rooms and the on site snorkeling and beach. It was nice to have breakfast included and we could walk to several restaurants. We also enjoyed kayaking but had to pay extra for kayaks and they were not great kayaks. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

Literally NO other guests (ok maybe 2 or 3 people) at the property… the breakfast was decent… clean but no pool chairs or beach chairs (2) to enjoy

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Had a great day the staff was amazing. The only downside was the pool was closed for maintenance while we were there.
We stayed in multiple locations in Palau and in my opinion Sea Passion was the best! You can’t beat the location or the view and the service was outstanding. A mid range hotel that exceeded expectations with clean modern rooms, a small beach and pool. Hiring a kayak is a must, and so is sunset at the Beach Bar. Fish n Fins tours are right there and it’s super close to other tour operators. Highly recommended.
Lovely hotel surrounded by beautiful waters! The staff are so friendly (as are all the people of Palau we’ve noticed). Food is delicious and varied. We loved kayaking and snorkeling all around; amazing how many fish there are just here in the lagoon.
Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely staff here again!!!

Location, lagoon, nice bedroom, a few nice members of staff but very poor quality service.
Beautiful grounds and snorkeling to see a plane wreck and giant clams from the hotel beach. Breakfast was good and the wait staff was great! Front desk clerks were prompt to help with anything we needed (towels, umbrella, etc.). The room was modern and clean. Will stay here again if return to Palau
Everybody was wonderful. Wi fi wasn’t working well. Had to move my room. Problem with TV reception. Good location for me. Easy access to my liveaboard debarkation location.

We loved our stay at Sea Passion Hotel. The staff (especially the young ladies at reception) were always friendly, cheerful and very helpful. Our room was large, with two big, comfortable beds. The ocean view is a little spoilt by the main road, but when our shower wasn’t getting hot on the first day this was fixed very quickly.
The beach attached to the hotel is small but lovely, with quite good snorkelling around to the right. Breakfast was an unusual mix of buffet options (at least to Aussies), but we could have eggs cooked to order every morning, with toast & jams. The only fruit was orange, which was a little disappointing. We only ate a couple of lunches at the hotel, but each was good. There are many restaurants within walking distance. This is a great place to stay if you’re going diving or snorkelling/kayaking, as most of these companies are located nearby. We hope to return.
The hotel was conveniently located with several restaurants in walking distance. The staff was helpful. Omelets were made to order at breakfast. However, there was very little fresh fruit, only orange slices everyday (we stayed here twice, before and after our drive boat trip). Kayaks were fun for $20/day with excellent areas to explore. Wi-Fi was good in the room but spotty in the lobby.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent; good food but the same menu every day with only 1choice of fruit offered (oranges). The hotel was in a quiet location with a small beach area and walkable to a couple of good restaurants (The Barracuda and Elilai). My only complaint is the BEDBUGS. The hotel was notified and said they checked the beds. They responded by saying they didn’t find any in the room or adjacent rooms. Unfortunately, the bedbugs were there and I think it is prudent to leave this review. The money spent on our stay wasn’t worth the hassle.
First off the hotel is in my opinion situated in one of the best locations in Palau. Beautiful lagoon/beach access, just outside of the main area in Koror. Close enough to everything you need but isolated enough to feel private and secluded. The room you get will make a difference in the overall feel you get. Since I wasn’t planning on leaving the hotel much I opted for one of the rooms with a deck and I totally loved the view. This is probably the closest you could get to a bungalow over the water without actually being in a bungalow over the water. They have their own little beach area, dock access, and small pool.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and most rooms come with a continental-ish breakfast. Breakfast selection was limited but it did have omelets to order and some meats like ham and marinated pork so it was more than just a continental breakfast and more than I anticipated. [Update] the breakfasts kept getting better and better as the days went by. Definitely caters to more Asian tastes but still good.
All that said there are things to be forewarned about. I had a really nice bathroom and bathtub but there was a bad smell coming from the drain(s?) which I endured the first night. The hotel maintenance and housekeeping worked on it but it wasn’t fully resolved. They, along with the front desk staff, were caring and responsive. It’s important to keep in mind that Palau is tropical so there were bugs in the room. Not a lot but enough to be noticeable.
Deluxe Rooms are spacious with good size balcony overlooking the water.
Short walk to plenty of dining options and dive companies.
Breakfast choice can be a bit odd but omelette or eggs consistently good.
The small beach is great to snorkel around with enough to see including a plane wreck.
Needs towel rack/ hooks in bathroom.
Overpriced for a dated hotel. It was a bit annoying that a Bentley and Rolls Royce blocked the entry to the hotel on a daily basis. The food was mediocre at best and expensive. However, the front desk was helpful and polite.
We have been returning to this property many times over the past 20 years, The breakfast has declined in selection and taste. Further for people traveling from the US they should take into account the horrible flight schedules and adjust their prices accordingly.
