"Easy to check in. Room was nice. large TV. one thing i could not get the BBC Red button to work just to check the news. but not major Problem, I found BBC 6 Music on the TV which was good. "Advertised as city view but only view of half due to the massive building across, I guess can’t be helped. Breakfast loads of options but the hot food was lukewarm and went cold fast after plated, Still tasty though. Quick service to get checked in and out, easy to get to the city centre and the car park but we did come on a Sunday which is a quieter time. Special requests was done for us when requested! "The reception staff were great. Room was huge with 2 king size beds. Some of the furniture didn’t match, black table on one side of the room & wood everywhere else? The floor tiles in the bathroom were uneven with some grout missing and the bathroom door was sticking on the floor. We loved the idea that if you stayed 2 nights or more and did not request your room to be made up you received a £5 voucher to spend at the bar, brilliant idea. Bar area had some nice areas but quite dim in others....

"I was really surprised at how spacious the room was - there was lots of room to move and to spread out. Bed was comfy and the extra cushions were good. I liked the room in the bathroom and having a bath in a hotel room for the price i paid was a luxury. Desk staff were helpful, security on the door, housekeepers who were friendly. Only downside was the not having the plug socket by the bed but walking across the room not a hassle."

"The young gentlemen at check-in was very professional. He made the whole arrival process trouble free. The staff in the bar/restaurant were also very polite and helpful. The late night team on the return from our event were also very friendly. We’ll be returning!"
