"A superb check in experience by the South African lady on reception...wish I knew her name.Lovely welcome. Yes the room was a little tired but it was comfortable and had a great sea view.Breakfast could have been a bit warmer but given the price paid I think the whole experience was fine for a one night stay."

"This was a charming hotel across from the harbour which we could see from our window. It was close to the downtown area so easy to walk to. There is a pub in the basement of this complex so it was really nice to be able to go for a drink without having to go far. Breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay."

"I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay."

"Can be a bit hit or miss with this place some rooms are fine others are not due to noise through the walls (loud Americans)and various fans and extractors being loud. Also the shower was very poor. All in not worth £100 for a night."
