"Bestwood Lodge is a very old building in need of investment but for me that’s part of its charm. On the run up to my function I felt there was a bit of casualness around arraignments however on the night everything was spot on the staff were brilliant from the manager down the buffet food was spot on the venue DJ (Kes) was absolutely brilliant my accomadation was spot on. All in all my experience was very good and I would definitely use Bestwood Lodge again. "

"Beautifully presented, spacious room with comfy bed, great wifi and a restaurant attached that delivers pizza! I was on the ground floor, and I'm used to peace and quiet, so I was occasionally disturbed by people walking by and talking noisily, so might be worth asking for a room on a higher floor if this is likely to disturb you."

"Nice property. Can be loud in the rooms with the passing traffic. Nice pool and spa facilities. Gym was ok too. Restaurant and the staff there were nice. Good stop off for a little wind down."

"The room was great, my friend and I were impressed but the quality of the coffee sachets, not the general run of the mill nescafe, it was Ringtons, that is impressive, also the toiletries we a decent brand too! The negatives about the hotel is the fire alarm went off at 3.30am so we had to evacuate the building, luckily it was a false alarm, some plonker was allegedly smoking in their room! My issues was evacuation down the stairs obviously! Near level 2 there was a chair on the staircase which...
