"The hotel was really good and fun with my family, Everything is true as of what the description said. Although I did wish there was more pillows in the room I was in, and the pool was cold, there wasn’t any heaters but besides that it was okay, if you want a hot pool I don’t recommend this, this is more of a summer type hotel"

"Its a quiet place not even a lot of visiable staff. Check in is a different process, but worth it. We had a basement room which definitely insulated us from some of the noise. The street outside is fairly busy, however not prohibitably so. The train station is directly across the street with easy access to the boston to rockport line with stops in Salem, which is why we were there. Already planning a return trip and this is a place we are thinking of staying."

"Excellent stay! The owner did an amazing job restoring this inn. Perfect mix of modern touches and tasteful charm decor in the rooms, while the restaurant/bar were restored with character and tradition in mind. Very nice bathroom and comfortable bed. "I liked that they have a small store in the lobby and after a long flight (they shuttle to Boston Logan), I could buy a glass of wine. Front desk was very friendly. Rooms clean, though not that well appointed. No coffee maker, fridge, etc. And while I was there a homeless person was hanging out in the hallways. The person didn't seem threatening, but still disconcerting. "
