I liked that they have a small store in the lobby and after a long flight (they shuttle to Boston Logan), I could buy a glass of wine. Front desk was very friendly. Rooms clean, though not that well appointed. No coffee maker, fridge, etc. And while I was there a homeless person was hanging out in the hallways. The person didn't seem threatening, but still disconcerting.

We stayed here for a couple hours between connecting flights and it was amazing. Our flight was delayed so we got in at 11pm and by the time we made it out of customs it was already11:30 and the final shuttle had already left. The hotel sent us a complimentary uber in place of the free airport shuttle that we missed. We had our 1 year old with us and the room was perfect for us. The lady at the front desk as well as those we spoke to before we checked in were all amazing and I'd give them all 10/10 for customer service. .. we only stayed there for about 5 hours as we had to catch our next flight at 6:10am. The stay was so good that we considered moving our flight so that we could spend an extra night there.

I wish I can score from my initial check in with a fantastic Hispanic female that was the great representation of true customer service. Unfortunately, past her the various other employees manning the front desk are not approachable. I pray Avid mgmt can really offer them heir employees customer service training and how to properly interact in hospitality . The 3 various employees (Indian looking man with glasses , European accent young female , to the worst one yet was employee name Emmanuella - skinny employee with blonde box braids ) just really need proper training. Emmanuella was argumentative , took a picture of my license in her personal cell phone , I asked to speak to her manager , she said manager was not available. Basic example , when a customer approaches desk , the salutation should be imitated by employee …you are there to work . Front Desk demands interaction with customer. Is mind boggling but my review will speak for itself when future patrons see what I saw. Overall hotel is pretty nice , the to go Breakfast if very decent , and housekeeping staff are very nice and helpful with needs. Is the front desk that is something else . I hope staff improve but the first person to check us in was phenomenal and super helpful ! The easy parking , laundry machines on each floor, available market store inside , and complimentary tea /coffee/ ice is something to greatly appreciate Avid , offering!!! Thank you for that!! Drawbacks no microwave inside room.
