"The magnificent and spectacular view of the harbor, bay, and bridge made up for any deficiencies with the property. Check in was smooth but staff was short and not overtly friendly. Room was clean. While there is a small combined washer/dryer unit, it cannot realistically be utilized as it takes ~6 hours to complete the process, is extremely loud, and is right at the entrance to the bathroom from the main bedroom, making it impossible to sleep with the machine on. "Great location away from the busyness of Auckland. Friendly staff, quiet hotel, cafes and restaurants within walking distance plus a nice park behind the hotel to go for a stroll. New world grocery store is a quick 5 minute drive away. Our room was fairly spacious, comfortable king sized bed and nice to have a full size washer and separate dryer in our room. "

"Very convenient place to stay on arrival at Auckland Airport. Spotless apartment. Kitchen equipment adequate for simple food preparation. Maintenance was an issue: The shower rail was broken and the hose leaked so that water pressure in shower was not adequate. Carpet strips not fastened down properly - a trip hazard."

"A friend and I stayed for 3 nights as I had a surgery nearby and we are from out of town. The staff were friendly, the cleaners were friendly and did an exceptional job. The property (the suite and the building and garden areas) were all beautiful and well kept. Very happy with our stay and experience."
