Niagara SkyWheel

Located on the lofty Clifton Hill on the Canadian side of the Niagara River, the SkyWheel is one of those attractions that simply must be on every visitor’s to-do list. Situated directly opposite the mighty American Falls, the SkyWheel offers a unique sightseeing platform for astonishing views of the Niagara horizon.

As the name suggests, the SkyWheel transports visitors 53 metres into the clouds for a spectacular panoramic vista. The journey takes about twelve minutes but the memory will last a lifetime.

The wheel is engineered to the highest standards. Each gondola is wrapped in UV-protected, light-reflective glass and is climate-controlled for maximum comfort. With room for six people, the spacious gondolas can easily cater for groups and families. Children particularly enjoy the excitement of riding the big wheel, allowing parents to sit back and appreciate the aspect. As you gently soar upward, drink in the 360° aerial views of the Niagara River and the powerful Horseshoe Falls. At the top of the wheel’s rotation, the magnificence of the topography is mind-blowing.

The aerial view from the SkyWheel is particularly mesmerising in the evening as a carpet of twinkling lights slowly spreads across the land below.
