"If you want a Robinson Crusoe holiday, Head Tien is as good as it gets if you still want an ensuite, a restaurant and a pool. Utterly charming place, could do a bit more on maintenance, cleanliness & shuttle options for the price, but the staff and location make up for any gaps. "We lived our experience at Cabana resort. Excellent customer service - the front desk staff are extremely accommodating, close to the main strip (short walk along the beach ~10 min walk), great breakfast selection (all included) and beautiful beach. The whitesand villa is outstanding, very beautiful. Would recommend this hotel 10/10."

"Loved the most the layout, design and location of the resort. The lighthouse design was so cute and like nothing we have stayed in before. There were only a few rooms on the property which made it feel secluded and peaceful. With a restaurant and infinity pool just 5 steps away from our rooms we couldn’t have asked for a better stay on koh Tao. Staff were so kind and helpful. "

"Located in extensive grounds and within walking distance of bars and a beach, this place is a, good base for a stay on Koh Tao. The rooms are large and comfortable and the bathroom adequate with toiletries provided. The pool is a pleasant area with loungers, umbrellas and even a few kids toys, and the free pick up from the pier was appreciated. It would benefit from some upgrade and housekeeping and cleaning definitely needs improving, but it offers a pleasant stay for a reasonable price. "
