"As an ugly American looking for a “budget hotel” I was blown away at how NICE this place was! I wasn’t sure if I was in the right place at first; marble floors, glass walls, high ceilings, staff in blazers n ties…not all dirty and decrepit like you’d expect at a Motel 6 in the states (same price) . "Great budget option. It’s old, run down and smells a bit like mould but for the price it’s worth it. About a 5-7 min walk to dontonbori. There is a ramen shop outside, multiple convenient stores within a minute and train station below. Mostly used the shinsaibashi line which was a 8 min walk. Can’t fault it for the price. However not the most lux. "
