The breakfast and staff serving were very nice. No hot foods in the rooms, however, you have the dining area to eat in for hot foods you bring inside. Front desk staff also very nice. "Hotel is undergoing a major update that greatly improves the rooms. During the upgrade, construction noise can be heard from 9 am until 5 pm. "Quite a trendy modernised building. If you are in basement rooms the subway train noises repetitively could cause you to wake but they do stop after midnight and dont start again. Room 1614 could do with a blind on bathroom door as is looking to courtyard and other room could see you walking around naked! Also a deadlock chain on door too. Bath towels wont wrap round a size 16 body. Would stay there again, very convenient location next to Paddington. We stayed in a superior twin."
