"Our family of five (kids 15, 13 and 10) just returned. We had an amazing stay and would recommend to others. Food was mostly really good. Breakfast buffet had something for literally everyone. Definitely got crowded, so avoid the 9-10 hour. Lunch favorites were Isla Contoy for a sit down and the cevicherria poolside or the tacos at the beach lounge. Our dinner favorites were the steakhouse and Nah Kaax, the beach lounge. I would recommend reading reviews and have a plan so you can schedule reservations. My family enjoyed the teppanaki show at Torri. The fire show on the beach is on Saturdays, so we scored a reservation for that restaurant THAT night during the show. So fun and great food. The Mexican Fiesta was moved inside to Vina del Mar where they have the breakfast bufffet and though the food was quite good, the drinks and service were the worst we had all trip. The pool service is ok, beach service quite slow. We tipped well, but moved around alot, so it didnt seem to help get things faster as it was often a new person. Swim up bars were fun and great service. One complaint is the pool/beach didnt get speedy clean up. Empty drinks and piles of wet towels seemed to sit awhile. Room service was a huge hit with our family. The TWICE daily housekeeping was excellent. Clean, plush bathmats at turndown, more towels than you could need, replenished mini bar, robes, etc. Ocean front view was spectacular. Hydrotherapy at the Spa was memorable, but very crowded. Beach was great."
