"Hotel Mola is a sweet, small family run hotel with a private beach and nice views over the water on the west side of Marmara. Why we liked it: (1) Comfortable rooms. While not lavish, rooms have comfortable beds, decent storage space, and excellent air conditioning. Ours were also very clean. (2) Great location. "This property is located on the beach, and is within walking distance of bars, cafes, restaurants, etc. it is clean, and seems to be brand new. The breakfast that is included is very generous and has a wide range of delicious options. Most of all, it is the warmness of the staff that make this the best choice on Avşan Island- they were friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. I highly recommend this place. "

"Our visit can only be described as comical. We booked a room with a kitchen, never saw one. Apparently our booking had been taken when they were full. There were language barriers which contributed to our issues ok but we ended up in a room that was not fit for purpose. Internet was spasmodic, the shower was broken, we only managed one hot shower each across 3 days. The bathroom door was broken meaning it could not be closed.
