"This was an intriguing place to stay- basically it was a mansion that the family converted into a pousada. It is in a safe area on a lake with a 18 mile walking/biking trail around it. It is not well marked so make sure that you bring the street address (it is on the main road around the lake). "We received a very warm welcome from Paulo, who runs the transportation service and picked us up from the airport in Belo Horizonte, and his wife Marcia, who runs the pousada.
