From the moment we arrived, our experience was not a good one. It was drizzling and we arrived to see the PARKING IS FULL sign. We were told to check in first and let the front desk know about the parking problem so they could direct us to a lot nearly where we could park. If their parking garage cannot accommodate their guests, they should have valet service available.
I went to the front desk and said hi and the receptionist didn’t even acknowledge me, picked up the phone and didn’t even look up.
My husband made the reservation so I know he wouldn’t have reserve two single beds but that’s what we got. I normally wouldn’t even mind it but they seem to be getting everything wrong.
The following morning, we went down for breakfast at 8AM. Our room came with free breakfast buffet from 6:30AM to 10AM. There was no host to greet us. We had to wait for someone to come. The dining room was small and packed. There doesn’t seem to be anyone managing it because more than half the buffet was empty and no one was refilling them. One of the viands was never refilled and it was only 8AM. There were spreads and jams but zero bread. There was an egg station with two chefs. One fries eggs and the other makes omelettes. I finished my meal without having received the egg I ordered.
It was such a disappointing experience.
Except for that receptionist, the other stuff were kind.
This was height of poor management. It’s a model of what NOT TO DO if you’re in the hospitality business.
