This property exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and the bed linens were soft. Mohamed recommended several restaurants and the dining experience excellent.

Room was nice & just what we needed. Only downside, breakfast. We went down for breakfast at 9am. Breakfast served 6:30-9:30. The empty tables were full of food that no one had cleaned, plates etc. so no one could sit down. We had to ask the woman at reception to clear them for us. There was 1 lad working to clean all the tables. She was very apologetic. Breakfast was ok, standard breakfast I suppose but did the job!

We were double booked , so we did not stay at the Holiday Inn express , Oxford Rd Manchester. I was not told about this double booking until we tried to check in. I think this very poor communication. However the Holiday Inn staff apologised. Luckily the alternative hotel was just over the road and 4 star and very good, so all was well.

Just a basic budget hotel.door staff pretty unhelpful when we had to leave in a hurry and needed to catch train.dont know what they actually do apart from pointing direction of check in desk. Area bit of a dump on a main road which is typical of most of Manchester city centre.Wont be returning.Liverpool is a much better place to visit.
