"This is the part I found out you can’t make outside call from the room…. They told me to use the pay phone. Not much concierge service at all. "

"Chose this hotel as it is located about 10 mins from Hakata station and there are plenty of restaurants in the surroundings. It was busy at check in time and there was a queue a check in time which is a self check in. Room was clean and a bit small but as expected. "

"First of all we stayed in one of their largest rooms (248sq/ft give or take) on the 13th floor. The room is a rectangle, with no square footage wasted. You open the door and you're in the room, no little mini hallway, no columns. So EXCELLENT use of space. The bathroom was huge. We really liked the sliding door (again, great use of space). Comfortable, warm, friendly staff, easy check-in with a kiosk, instructions could be changed to English for us, with one of the staff watching over in case...

"Located a distance away from Hakata station, it take close to 20 minutes to reach, take note if lugging around luggage. It is about 15 minutes walk to Canal City and the Naka river where the Yatai stores can mostly be found in the evening. That said, the shower ventilation has a thick layer of dust and due to the way the hotel is designed there will always be a cold draft felt when you exit the room toilet. It is cheap, so if you are a backbacking around it is not a bad choice."
