"A lovely hotel at walking distance from the nice village of St Cruz and conveniently located for everything else. Beautiful rooms and decor, skilled service, great quality restaurant. "

"At the arrival the staff couldn’t find our booking and was not very friendly. The room we got had no balcony. The furniture was not in a good state. Parts of the walls were damaged. The air-conditioning didn’t work. The bedsheets and towels were very old and smelled strange. The toilet was leaking and the bathroom floor often wet. There were stains on the bathroom‘s floor and the bath was not cleaned well. The hairdryer was sticky and dirty. We didn’t feel comfortable at this hotel."

"A unique gem of a hotel. The views & sounds of being so close to the sea is incredible. Rooms are clean & modern, dining options, particularly the rooftop restaurant are superb. You definitely will need a hire car if you want to explore the local area, as porto moniz is quite small with just a handful of places to go."
