The room with a view of the river for which I paid extra was a misnomer because the trees obstruct the view, but the room faces a few lanes of traffic that makes it too noisy to get a good night sleep. "This is outside of where we normally stay (near SMN) but it was excellent. Great staff, you can buy food in the lobby & micro in the main room. We learned to take the bus to wherever we were headed for the day. There’s a killer gelato place at the Piazza Baccaria where we went daily. Easy walk to caffe and dolci because we didn’t want the available hotel breakfast. Good restaurants. A lot less touristy and better prices, yet only 3 blocks from the Arno. Would recommend it for sure. B&B...
