"We stayed one night at the Hotel Pommernland having flown in to the nearby Anklam airfield. As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. Hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were absolutely fine. My only criticism is that there was only 1 feather pillow supplied which was way too soft, my head sunk straight through it. Breakfast was OK."

"This medieval castle is owned and operated by a private family who do a marvelous job of getting every thing just right. I was quiet overwhelmed by the ambience which is why I added 2 more nights on to the original booking of 4 nights. Also they brew their own beer which I found very good. "The hotel was fine (although having absolutely no wifi was a bit of a surprise and not ideal for the type of travelling we were doing). Because we were there in mid-April, it isn't the best time to be at a location that is catering to summer beach goers, so my rating of the location suffers a bit. This is just a matter of timing though. We had driven up from Berlin to go to Peenemunde, and this was a fine hotel to spend the night after before moving on."
