"We traveled to Gulf Shores for the first time and found this hotel. Its an older one but it was close to most things, clean and comfortable"

"Our stay at The Lodge was fantastic! We had never stayed here before as our family has condos in the area, but we were passing through on the way to Santa Rosa for a bachelorette trip. We were instantly met with friendly service, from the valet to the front desk to other workers passing by. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Our waitress at the on-site restaurant went above and beyond for us, assisting with a food allergy and even hunting us down when we left without our to-go water! Couldn't rave about this place enough. We will definitely stay here again in the future and recommend to anyone coming to the area! "

"They have some work to do. The Valet for 24 hours is only 19 hours. Then, they charge you an additional $10.00. None at the Valet stand could explain. The restaurant ran out of almost everything on the menu on Saturday night. Drinks took over an hour to get. I feel like these super unique properties are going downhill with Hilton now owning them. That said its the best location on campus and i feel like they can work out the kinks. "
