"We needed a place to stay overnight before our cruise and this was a great option. Its an older property that's been nicely remodeled. The room was very basic but had everything we needed for an overnight stay -a comfortable bed, modern bathroom and tv. The busy, downtown neighborhood had several restaurants and coffee shops within a couple of blocks. The Long Beach Aquarium and Shoreline Village were about a 5 minute drive and the cruise terminal wasn't much farther. The staff was friendly and...

"As I stated previously, this is a one person set of rooms available on this property. They gladly refunded my payment because there were two of us, and Expedia supposedly contacted the property and were able to accommodate two of us, but those beds are pretty much made for one person."

"The initial contact with front desk felt unwelcoming. There was a couple checking in ahead of us. Felt like the front desk associate was more courteous to them. I had to ask the questions that he should have been providing details of the hotel. I was less then thrilled with our first floor room next to the lobby. We added the romance package and that was not a romantic location at all. We did inquire room availability with pool view. The associate was able to accommodate our request. After that...
