"The hotel was clean and quiet, with a clean and spacious bathroom and in a great location. The breakfast was awesome, totally worth it! The hotel is privately owned so it was great to support this local business! "
"Elke and Wout are lovely. They are generous, kind, and sensitive hosts. Their home is beautiful. You will be treated to big breakfasts served on lovely China with delicious homemade bread, eggs from their own chickens, homemade jams, locally made cheeses and various meats. Dinner is also fantastic and Wout does a perfect blue steak, wonderful fish dishes and his frites are fantastic! The Dining Room has a wonderful aspect. "Great check-in experience, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, great restaurant and rooftop. The only issue we had was being charged extra 47 euros when we were told they were not busy and could checkout at 2pm at no charge.
Highly recommend otherwise. "
"A beautiful hotel in the heart of Ghent. We visited for the weekend and we were not disappointed. Ghent festival was on during our visit, which was an added bonus…. We will definitely be back. Beautiful city, fantastic hotel; clean, with large refurbed rooms. convenient location with wonderful staff. "
"Clean and looks newly furbished. Hotel staff good in english and easy to communicate with. The car park is a bit pricy at 20 euros per night but it s convenient and secure so we went for it anyway. We stayed during Ghent festival and there s performances around the city - this hotel is just 20 min walk from the happenings and is not disturbed by the noise. Would recommend."
