Family friendly Hotels in Lido-Pellestrina, Veneto

"This is a no brainer hotel right next to the train station. The breakfast was extremely good with delicious options, cappuccino coffee machines, and much more with cereal for kids. The room was clean and had air conditioning, smelled great like musk and roses. Shower could be bigger (almost felt like in a cruise shower). None the less all toiletries and hair dryer worked. Be careful of the big step to the bathroom. Lobby is great to sit in after checkout and waiting for train. They also have luggage room, so you can keep your luggage and continue to explore till your train time. Extra pillows and blanket in the closet. It would be great if there was atleast one extra mirror in the room for makeup etc. all in all great comfortable stay. Don’t forget to explore the little garden area outside the breakfast area. Check in was easy, they make photo copies of passport but maybe that is common there. At the end there was some tax/fee at check out per person not more than $2 or $3 per person. "

"The best and most convenient way to get there is by getting a water taxi, especially if you are traveling with children or a lot of luggage. The pool is small, and a daily reservation is required, but overall, it has beautiful views. The staff is friendly and attentive. "

Our room had some age to it, but it was well kept and very clean - and if we wanted brand-new we wouldn't be staying in old Venice. Access to everything interesting in San Marco was steps away. Overall we were very happy with the Hotel Montecarlo and consider it a great value."
