Hotels with shuttle in Left of Rhine, Cologne

"I stayed at Bucholz Downtown Hotel during my recent visit to Cologne for the Christmas Markets. The hotel is very conveniently located near the HBF and near the walking path along the river. The hotel breakfast was very nice...not extensive but a nice way to start you day and served by a friendly staff. The hotel is older and a bit dated but clean with good mechanicals. I am a solo female traveler...the street was a bit dark for me at night when walking alone. Also, the hotel desk is not...

"This is a gem of a hostel, you can't go wrong. We had a 6 bed room to ourselves and, while initially looking a little on the cramped side, it was no bother at all as we mainly spent our time out and about. Spotlessly clean, great en suite shower, firm mattresses (which I thought were great, but guess that's down to personal preference!) The hostel is a 25 min walk from the centre of Cologne (Dom & railway station etc) and located a few mins walk from the buzzing Belgian Quarter, but still...

"Very good location - super central. Especially good location for gay travellers, as it’s in the middle of all the gay venues (10 min walk both sides). It was a bit expensive considering it’s condition, but the room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Service was friendly."

"Great hotel!!!!! Next to the Cathedral and the train station. Extremely clean room, spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed. A lot of restaurants and stores next to it. Loved our stay. "

I never had this issue with the other rooms I have stayed on before. Other than that, everything was great. The staff is super friendly and helpful. "
