"Staff very friendly and helpful. Spacious room. Plenty of parking. Down sides, restaurant was closed for a function, we did not know until arriving at check in desk. This did not impact us this time but may impact others. Hotel is out of Salisbury town centre, but there are bus stops very close to the hotel . Buses are frequent and very reasonable. This makes the hotel accessible to town. Would I use the hotel again? - Yes "

Downside was the bathroom, please get this sorted! The shower did not work and dripped the whole time. The bath plug could only be got out with a key or something. One basin tap moved about. Lots of character, e.g. the breakfast room that was a vaulted ballroom/function room overlooking the garden, with original features and spotlessly clean and tidy. This is not a cut and paste could be anywhere chain hotel and would happily use again, also was remarkably good value for bed and breakfast. "

"It was our 3 time in staying at the hatchet inn it was good ,but not its usual standard ,the room above us which was no 3 the occupant decided to go bed at midnight waking us up ,by banging doors running up and down the stairs making a lot noise in the room this went on for 2 hours ,then at 4 am they started being noisy again didn’t get much sleep ,it did ruin our stay"
