"Well, I picked this b&b because of all the great reviews and have to disagree. I stay over 180 days a night in hotels and b&bs (for personal travel) and this place was unique. It was like staying at your friend's grandparents' place where you didn't know if you were really welcomed or not. The chain smoking grandma was friendly, but sometimes moody, and I never saw grandpa with a shirt on. No complaints about the room itself, but I felt like I was encroaching on a family home. "Great hotel to stop through with kids, plenty of activities (mini-golf, pool, trampoline, sports area), kids room, snacks through the day and many other activities round the area. Rooms were clean and the views amazing. We didn't plan a long enough stay in the area but the lake and surrounding towns looked lovely."

"The hotel staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. My only constructive criticism is that the water from the shower either has little or no pressure in the mornings, and it’s very difficult to regulate the temperature. It was either scalding, hot or freezing cold. Also breakfast was disappointing as unless you got there literally at 7:30 everything was cold, I am aware they sealed the silver platters with hot water, but there didn’t appear to be any candles keeping the hot water hot. Therefore the food was cold. We did have omelettes this morning our last day and only wish we are done that previously in the week but couldn’t see it advertised that they were available. "
