"We are repeat visitors to the RHIGA hotel in Kyoto. We love that the hotel is close to Kyoto Station but not too close. Staff are very efficient and friendly. The bell desk staff were very helpful arranging takyubin for our larger pieces of luggage to be transported to the RHIGA hotel in Osaka. "Overall this was a very good stay. You take your shoes off upon entering the hotel. You are not allowed to wear your shoes. You get the traditional vibe. The room was clean. The staff were attentive. Our room did not have a bath tub. If you have tattoos you will NOT be able to use the spa/sauna bath. Which I know Japan is notorious for not allowing tattoos. But I was hoping since so many tourists stay there they would be a little lenient. "
