It was nice and close to the train station, which was how we were traveling around. Breakfast was good but you had to pick your time as it was very busy first thing. The room we had was comfortable and large enough.

The property is such a short walk from Kyoto Station that I have trouble justifying staying anywhere else. With the station's dining options via iSetan & Porta and convenient access to the JR central gate, staying here is truly convenient.
