"A superb place to stay - large rooms/bathroom, great veranda overlooking well tendered and tranquil garden. Lovely garden swimming pool with sun loungers and lawn. Staff exellent and looked after us very well - even had menu's from local restaurants and staff happy to reserve a table. Great breafast served on the veranda. Highly recommend for a stay in town."

"Marie is a warm and inviting host, nothing appears to be too much trouble. Our room was spacious with an outdoor seating & patio area. The guest house is on the edge of town and so we used a cab service when heading out for dinner in the evening. Marie organised and booked(very cheap and nice driver) She also recommended 2 restaurants where the food was very good. The Swartberg Pass drive was something else and we were glad to reach the very lovely Prince Albert town which was lovely. The Caves...

"Our biggest disappointment was the swimming pool and the area around it. It was the main reason we booked Karoo Life Bed & Breakfast. We really wanted to be able to spend time around the pool relaxing during the very hot days we were visiting. The pool was dirty and not cleaned once during our 3 night stay. The Kreepy Krauly pool cleanser hose was also left in the pool the entire time we were there which made it impossible to swim across the pool. It also wasn't working. The pool looks nothing...
