"Lovely people and charming place. Could help self to vegetables in the garden or even the eggs from the chickens for breakfast which was a hit with the kids. Only drawback was that it was a bit of a squash, we should have booked a third room. The rooms are called “two bedroom” but they are actually one bedroom suites with a single sofa bed in the living room so not really suitable for three adults. "Lovely, caring owner in a gorgeous location. The property itself needs a bit of TLC. For 50 Rand, they will wash your clothes as there is no washing machine. "

"This stay was so wonderful - thanks to friendly and helpful staff who were very responsive to issues, and an amazing farm tour and activities. One disappointment is we were not able to bike as there were no kids' size bikes available. Also, consider supplying the AfriCamps tents with citronella candles to help keep mosquitos away when outside in the evenings."

"The dog, Reacher, is super friendly. Water is only rain water so must be used sparingly. The little space is great for a short stay but would be cramped for extended periods. Beautiful garden with little pond right on your doorstep, but careful of wasps. "

"Well situated on high hilltop great view of lake . Property has gated entrance . Seems like a safe environment. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue"

"This would have been a fantastic stay but we did book economy rooms and they were fairly basic compared to the rooms with private terraces onto the main gardens. Economy rooms seem to be for the drivers (mini bus and coach drivers etc) so I recommend checking where your room will be and perhaps going up a level. "

"Beautiful property. We went on an afternoon game drive and a morning horse ride. The horse I rode was a well trained thoroughbred with spirit but restrain. I rode up to zebra, impala and wildebeest. One of the most enjoyable rides I’ve ever been on. There is a wide variety of game on the reserve and we were given an excellent tour by a very knowledgeable guide. I would love to come back or go on another safari with this group. You come for the animals and this places does not disappoint. It does have delicious food and a lovely camp. Thank you for a lovely stay. Caution using the nearby gas station. Our cc was hacked. "

Amazing hidden gem in the klein karoo

"Such a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. Comfiest bed of our holiday so far too! Highly recommend the sundowner game drive and dinner, Elton is so knowledgeable abour everything! and he is a natural storyteller. The ostrich tour was fantastic too, Zenith was friendly and informative and you could tell loved the ostriches. Overall just a brilliant stay and all staff we met were helpful and friendly. Amazing views from the property too. Highly recommend staying here. "
