Got to the hotel and the first thing the receptionist said to us was “Oh your reservation is cancelled due to renovations” but they couldnt bother to send a simple email letting us to prior to arriving. After a few hours on the phone Expedia luckily managed to book as at a different lovely property but it was a very unnecessary experience.
