"My family and I were so happy we decided to book this location. It is literally 10ft away from a 7/11 store to get any food or drinks necessary. Having the 7/11 be open 24hrs was really great as we were getting food at odd times because of jet lag in the first few days. Not only is there a 7/11 so close, but there are neighboring grocery stores that are open as well. The biggest selling point in my opinion is that the JR station is a 3 minute walk from the complex. "One could not do better for the price. Very convenient to everything. This hotel looks brand new sparkling clean. I came here for a couple days before leaving Japan at Narita. Close location to the airport to spend a day or two and see a very nice small Japanese City."

"Pretty good hotel for solo travelers around the Makuhari area. It's close to the Shin-Makuhari train station, as well as a couple of shops and a supermarket. So if you want to get something to eat from a convenience store, or take a train out to Tokyo, then you can do that easily. As for the room, the one I had was a single room. It is small, so you probably don't have enough room to move around in. But it was manageable. For the price, it's not too expensive. "

Enjoyed our stay

"We (2A,2C) stayed here for 7 nights. Got a room with a view of Tokyo Skytree and it was lovely to see it change colours every night. The room felt a little small but that’s because we had 4 pieces of large-ish luggage and 2 cabin sized luggage. The room could do with more lights as the room was a bit dark at night. Check-in was smooth and quick. Overall, staff were helpful. We had breakfast in the hotel. Food was decent but the spread was limited. No real complains though. The airport bus from Haneda drops off passengers here. You can also board the airport bus to Haneda or Narita from here but the last bus is in the afternoon. Very conveniently located. There are shopping malls and many residences and restaurants nearby. A short walk away is a park with a playground and is very popular with young families on weekends and public holidays. However it may be a bit of distance or switching of trains if you’re going to all the tourist spots. We did enjoy the area a lot as we had 2 young children and finding food, shopping and playground in one convenient location was a big plus for us. There are no DIY laundry facilities in the hotel but there are 3 DIY laundromats within 7min walking distance of the hotel. You can ask the hotel for a map in English. "

"Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay was a great place for our family to stay, including elderly and an infant. There is a convenience store downstairs, as well as direct entry to train station and an abundance of shops. The free shuttle bus to and from Disneyland and Disneysea runs regularly. Such convenient and comfortable service. We are sure to recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"Great location in Asakusa! Convenient to multiple train lines, food, shopping and temple grounds. Rooms are bigger than anticipated but minimal storage, no drawers and small closet. Premier lounge was a pleasant surprise and appreciated. 4th floor izakaya style food court was not up to par and disappointing, chose elsewhere to eat. Kobe restaurant is over priced and seldom busy. Uniglo store was a great! Don Quixote is a tourist trap and overpriced! Recommend and would return."
