"The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka. "The hotel was close to the city centre and near railway station in Kandy. The hotel manager was helpful and knowledgeable about tourist sites and bus, train, three wheeler transport. The breakfast was delicious, scramble eggs and toast, and tea. "

"Nice friendly staff, good breakfast, location is up a hill around 15min walk to the centre, it is in the jungle so expect the odd ant and spider in the shower lol. Overall good value for money ideal for a short stay."

"Basic comfortable room with a balcony and view of the city - nice to enjoy a beer on in the evening and play a few games of cards If you decide to have breakfast or dinner here then it is reasonably priced and great food! Some of the best food we had in our 2 weeks in Sri Lanka actually! Would recommend"
